Our latest Residential Network Pressure Test Results are out!

As part of our commitment to providing industry-leading service, we have commissioned twelve independent Residential Network Pressure Tests by Mobius Research & Strategy since January 2020. These tests help us consistently evaluate our performance under pressure, so we continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

What happened in 2024, and what were the results?

Across the three Residential Network Pressure Tests in 2024, on average, New Zealand Couriers, delivered parcels to addresses 64% faster than NZ Post.

Mother’s Day(May 8th): During the Mother’s Day period, New Zealand Couriers delivered on average 17 hours and 23 minutes earlier than NZ Post, which was 57% faster.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday(December 2nd): During the Black Friday/Cyber Monday peak period, New Zealand Couriers delivered 29 hours and 21 minutes earlier than NZ Post, which was 65% faster.

Christmas(December 18th): During Christmas, on average New Zealand Couriers were 71% quicker delivering 36 hours and 12 minutes earlier than NZ Post did.

The 2024 Residential Network Pressure tests found that New Zealand Couriers, on average, delivered 26 hours and 58 minutes earlier than the competitor to the same residential addresses. That’s nearly twice as fast!

Charge label use will be discontinued from 1st July 2025

In May 2024, we announced that Prepaid Tickets and Charge Labels would incur a cost increase of 5% from 3 March 2025. Additionally, Charge Labels will no longer be accepted from 1st July 2025.

We have technology solutions that allow our customers better tracking visibility, faster delivery and reductions in manual ticketing errors.

If your business is using Prepaid Tickets/Charge Labels, upgrade to an electronic ticketing system any time before March and avoid this 5% increase.
